FRED IS A MANAGER...BIANCA IS ONE STEP CLOSER TO HER GED
Fred Hill, October '09 graduate, was just promoted to manager at Cici's Pizza! We're proud of Fred for a lot of reasons, and we're especially impressed because his co-workers had input in this decision and felt that Fred was the right choice for the job. We're so proud of his leadership. We also got news this week that Bianca Tolbert, July grad, passed the TABE Test. This is an important step in the process of preparing for the GED, and we are thrilled that Bianca has accomplished this. FRED AND BIANCA, you make us proud!

CINDY IS PROMOTED!
We're so proud to share this week's big news. First, Cindy Goad (far right), who graduated from Jobs for Life, volunteered for us for awhile, and was hired as a part time receptionist, has now been promoted to full time Advance Memphis Staffing Service Assistant. This is a TOUGH job - the Staffing Service operates 24 hours a day - so pray for Cindy. She is already doing a fabulous job.
AN INTERN IS HIRED!
And our next exciting piece of news? We've hired one of our fabulous interns! Walter Jackson (left) graduated from Southeast Missouri State University with a degree in Business Management. He writes the following: "I came to Memphis the end of May to intern with Advance Memphis through Campus Outreach--to get hands on experience with inner city ministry. I really enjoyed Advance and loved what they were doing. After my internship I was able to come on staff with Advance and assist with staffing which I am really excited about and looking forward to the relationships and seeing what God will continue to do through this ministry." Walter will be a huge help to Juanita and Cindy, working part time as an On-Site Supervisor. We PRAISE GOD for bringing Cindy's and Walter's talents and work ethic to Advance.
